Demonic Nightfall- Prolouge

Quiet, pure, undisturbed, silence. No animal stirred in its den, no bird whistled a song overhead, cheerily greeting everything it saw. Not a leaf rustled on the ground, not a breath of wind stirred the air. It was an oppressive, consuming silence that took an amplified each and every sound in its domain, making the lightest touch of sound become a beating tattoo on one's ears. All around, gigantic trees stood like sentinels on guard, watching, waiting for some unfortunate to stumble upon them and disturb their vigil. Now, they stared at a forlorn figure crouched in the bushes, hand clutching at a rapidly increasing dark stain on his clothing

Been having a bit of trouble with my hand....the only one I can use to write. I'm not ambidextrous, sadly, and that means what Ive written is going to come slower from now on. I'm working on Chapter one as fast As I am able, and if you've been checking back, or even paying attention to me, you'll be a bit impatient. Just give me a bit of time, again, like before, though its getting old I know. I'll take any free moment I can to write. I'll get this damned thing done if it kills me.

Thanks for the encouragement. I'll start writing chapter two, and then...I'll put it on deviant art from my notebook...

I always end up editing things extremely after I try and copy them down. Ususally for the better. :P
